Annual diagnostic testing allows potential problems to be identified by our veterinarians at the OVC Smith Lane Animal Hospital before they develop into a major illness. If a condition can be identified prior to its symptoms being shown, preemptive treatment can begin and have the potential to be more effective. As pets get older, more frequent and comprehensive testing is encouraged in order to stay on top of your pet’s health.

The OVC Smith Lane Animal Hospital follows wellness guidelines that have been established by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). For more information on their recommendations or a more detailed wellness profile, please visit the AAHA website.
